Technology
Most people have a basic knowledge of what the magnet, but in fact many ways of thinking, magnets, which can be used. Did you know that the magnets play an important role in our daily lives? Without magnet technology, our mobile phones, computers, but many cars would cease to function. Magnet technology has come a long way in recent decades, but some of the most astonishing progress has been made in the field of healthcare.
X-ray technology for over 100years. Many of us are familiar with the process with x-rays taken, and we saw all the doctors look at the x-ray images. In 1977, through the use of magnets, new medical technologies have been developed as an alternative (or advanced version) x-ray. This technology is also called the first nuclear magnetic resonance, but later became better known as magnetic resonance imaging, or MRI. MRI technology uses powerful magnetic field to visualize the structure and function in the human body. Unlike the X-ray, which can be described only a two-dimensional imaging, MRI evaluate three-dimensional body, which allows more careful evaluation and study of the body. These systems are used in large oncology or cancer diagnosis.
Although MRI technique is relatively new, only 30 years old, has become a very important tool for the diagnosis. There are now done in specialized mobile MRI trailer trucks that travel to service rural areas. For these rural hospitals can not afford their own MRI units, mobile MRI plan semi truck on a visit to a somewhat regular intervals, so that doctors in this area plans MRI patients than is necessary. The magnetic field created by using the MRI machine is so strong that the lead-lined walls are used in the trailer to prevent the magnets attract cars off the road and into the side of the vehicle.
In some other areas of Experimental Medicine, magnets are being used to the pain and healing. Some doctors and medical researchers believe, magnetic therapy is a better option than drugs or surgery, because there are no potential harmful side effects or long periods. The question of whether the magnet therapy really works, is a hotly debated topic. Many reports have also been reported from satisfied patients. It is for the real relief, or only in the minds of patients? Time will tell how the current investigation is still evaluating the ability of the magnet technologies to reduce pain and improve the natural process of healing the body.
Interestingly enough, magnets are used in health care for hundreds of centuries. Early recorded history of magnets used for therapeutic purposes traced back to Africa, where my magnetite was discovered. Mine, which seem more than 100,000 years old, was one of the main sources of magnetite for therapeutic purposes. Magnetite to the ground and used in topical ointments, drinks and food for health purposes.
In Eastern medicine, magnets have been used since 600 BC to reduce pain, much the same way as acupuncture. The magnets are placed at specific points on the body known as the meridian channels, and to improve blood flow and reducing pain. In terms of holistic medicine, magnets are a good alternative to traditional Western medicine, because the non-invasive treatment option. Many Asian cultures believe that magnets can be used to support and strengthen the general welfare and health.
Modern medicine has a long way in the use of magnetic technology and new discoveries continue to be about what magnets can do for us. There is no doubt that in the future will continue to create new inventions in the medicinal use of magnetic technology.
